ABOUT ART FRAK
Toronto based surrealist photo illustrator, Art Frak, creates commentary by repositioning the context of the female form through its juxtaposition against themes of violence, emotions, sexuality, and culture. A career illustrator, for more than 15 years with two separate degrees in both science and art, his continuing interests have lead him to over 40 countries from which he draws persepctive to reframe and reshape our wobbly reality in his art.
Art Frak's foray into using photography as a medium, pushing around photographic pixels like digital paint on a canvas, has allowed him to effectively craft images that prime us to question pre-conceived notions, daring us to explore underneath that which we take for granted as being the norm.
